What’s your commitment to youth?

Benjamin Serfati, Purchasing Manager, Les Sauveteurs en mer (Lifeboat crew and lifeguards) - SNSM: The SNSM is a 1901 association that relies mainly on volunteers. This means we currently have 2 main sectors of activity: the first involves the lifeboat crew members who work out at sea. And the second are the lifeguards. This branch includes mainly young people aged 18-35, generally still at school, who we support through training, by giving them the possibility to obtain various State diplomas.

What’s your project with TotalEnergies Foundation?

Benjamin Serfati: For 14 years, we've constantly rethought how we do things, supported by this sponsorship, and we now design and develop our own protective equipment, used by our volunteers all year round. And let’s not forget training. The SNSM has changed in 14 years owing to the professionalization of our volunteers

Can you sum up “creating partnerships” in a few words?

Benjamin Serfati: The theme “creating partnerships", is more than that. For me, it embodies a key factor, the transformation. The transformation of our association, through a changed image, improved training courses and safety, and better personal protective equipment for our volunteers.
