TotalEnergies in Collaboration with Jeunes d’Avenirs

The Jeunes d’Avenirs fair will be held in Paris on September 14 and 15, where TotalEnergies will be presenting its solutions designed to give young people a foot up.

Since 2013, the Jeunes d’Avenirs fairs have been held in the Paris region, Marseille, Lille and Lyon. They are organized for young people aged 16 to 30 with a view to helping them find an apprenticeship, training or employment in hiring sectors.

On September 14 and 15, TotalEnergies will be heading to Porte de la Villette with a number of public and private stakeholders. Committed to youth inclusion and education, TotalEnergies and its corporate foundation are working to offer various solutions to young people.

Innovative, Proven Teaching Methods

TotalEnergies is committed to offering alternative solutions to those who are marginalized from the traditional school system. A perfect example of this is L’Industreet, which the Company launched in Paris suburb Stains at the end of 2020. This campus provides free training, offering certifications in new industry professions to young people, both girls and boys, who may or may not have qualifications. Partners supported by TotalEnergies Foundation will also be represented at the fair: Simplon, which offers training in digital professions, and the French National Federation of Production Schools (FNEP), which gives skills-qualification training to young people that is based on a “Learning by Doing” approach. One such training provider, the Iron Academy, which will open its doors on September 20 in Stains, will also be featured.

TotalEnergies is placing its focus on mentoring through its partners Proxité, Sport dans la Ville, La Cravate Solidaire and Mozaïk, which will be at the fair introducing young people to their programs. Attendees can also take part in workshops such as “Did you say mentoring” and “Get Inspired!”, where people will be sharing their experiences on this issue.
