Total Foundation Shares Its Expertise for the Third Global Road Safety Conference

The third Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety, sponsored by the World Health Organization, will be held in Stockholm on February 19 to 20, 2020. Delegations from more than 100 countries are expected at the event, which will be an opportunity to review the measures put in place over the last ten years and set new targets for 2030. 

In preparation, the Steering Committee organizing this international summit has set up a High Level Consultative Committee to help define the strategic vision, program and objectives for the conference, drawing on innovative ideas from all stakeholders in society, from the industrial sector to research organizations and institutions. Total, renowned for its expertise as a company with close ties to cars and drivers and for its commitment to road safety as part of the Total Foundation corporate citizenship program, has been invited to take part.

The Consultative Committee met in Paris in February 2019. 

The next meeting will take place in Stockholm on June 5, 2019.
