TotalEnergies staff devote their time to local solidarity initiatives

All over the world, TotalEnergies staff can give up to three working days per year to volunteer with associative partners through the Action! solidarity program. Its purpose? To mirror the Company’s citizenship engagement in favor of the general population, and in particular young people in vulnerable situations. Since the launch of the Action! program in 2018, 24,000 members of staff worldwide devoted their time to 57,000 missions. Spotlight on five solidarity initiatives from the four corners of the world.

In Italy: solidarity citizenship engagement under way at the “16 agosto 1860” school

In Corleto Pericara, at the heart of the Basilicata region in Italy, staff at the Tempa Rossa plant devoted their time to three specific long-term learning programs to help middle-school students in rural areas with their education.

Staff from the local affiliate organized a football tournament on a brand new soccer field funded by the affiliate that involved underprivileged young people from two schools in Capetown.

In Madagascar, a traveling bus goes to meet young people in working-class districts

Twice a month, in Antananarive, the “Alliance mobile” traveling bus from the Alliance Française goes to meet young people in disadvantaged working-class districts who have little access to culture. This biannual tour is an opportunity for staff to participate in the traveling events alongside partner associations.
